Extreme sports such as snowboarding are very popular with both young boys and girls alike. Women, mostly young women have proven that they can also do exploits on snowboards. This trend is widespread, found in other sports such as soccer.
The entry of women in any sport brings something special with it. Because of social reasons, there is always a readiness to accept women in many traditionally male sports. At first some people object, but they are always in the minority and in many cases, they always lose. Nonetheless, the women trendsetters just like the male innovators who founded the sport, had a lot to prove before they could be accepted as serious athletes, worthy of recognition.
Women in sports bring a certain grace to any sport they participate in. From golf to soccer, a womans touch is always delicate: There is a certain amount of finesse that is only found in a woman. In snowboarding, it is remarkable to see these seemingly fragile girls carry out exploits any male competitor would be proud of.
