This Thanksgiving, we have so very much to be grateful for in our little family, with friends and our extended family from coast to coast. Our lives are filled with irresistible and sweet daily bits of joy mixed in with challenges brought our way to teach us how to navigate the wavy waters that are just simply a part of life.
For us, this year is particularly sweet as we find ourselves so very far away from our families, forging out on our own and so very full of excitement about what the future brings. It?s been a rugged year that we have been totally in love with, even through the most awkward of times.
So, we wanted to make something that we could place in a special spot in our house where each of us could see it every day and remember how much our family has grown.
It started as a Fall painting project and grew into the Family Tree of Thanks.
Tomorrow, when we sit down to Thanksgiving dinner with new friends here at our home in Nova Scotia, we?ll all look across the table at each other and know that life is particularly delicious. Our arms are open wide and we are ready for all that it brings and we bring to life.
